Resize a photo added
We set a maximum file size for uploaded photos
for the MyScrapbookPhotos.com site. This makes it much
easier for everyone (even those on dial-up) to view photos by
keeping them from being too large. The limit is currently
set at 1 (one) Megabyte (1024 Kb). This is more than
enough for the average photo.
Digital cameras can take extremely
large photos, most of which are hard to view on a normal
computer monitor. We are sure that everyone has dealt with
a photo that they have to scroll through it just to view
portions of it. Limiting the size of the photo keeps those
HUGE photos out of the system.
If you need to resize a photo,
you can see an image link on the right side of the page when you
are logged in. Click the image, browse your computer
to find the file and then submit it. The file (photo) will
be reduced by 50% automatically. All you have to do is
click the new photo, save it to your computer and you are all
set to upload it to the MyScrapbookPhotos.com site.
View the same pop-up window that
you get when you click the image once logged in.
Click here to make the resize window pop up. (turn pop-up blockers off if you have a problem viewing it)
Enjoy!
